Combining a love for animals, and drive to make a difference, our picturesque campus at The Walled Garden Moreton near Dorchester is looking for an Animal Care Technician to join our team to help care for a variety of animals while supporting young people with SEND to gain hands-on skills and confidence.
EMA at The Walled Garden is a public attraction with a difference. Students study and gain work experience on-site, alongside our garden and hospitality professionals, all working in tandem to provide a vibrant space for learning, and a destination for those looking for a family day out.
From pygmy goats to exotic bugs and reptiles, our diverse family of animals make us a unique location in Dorset, and the animals are a key part of the site. In this role, you’ll ensure the highest standards of animal welfare, assist with feeding and health checks, and guide students through daily routines and learning activities. This is a rewarding, varied role combining practical animal care with meaningful educational support.
